Summer Camp

Welcome to Camp Amazing Kids!  Each summer Kids `R` Kids RTP offers a fun, field trip packed summer camp.  Join us as we explore healthy living, arts, sports, inventions and more. Hands on individual and small group projects will engage campers each day as they have fun learning and developing talents and interests they may not have known they had. Come share a fun filled summer and meet amazing friends!

What do fantastic field trips to places like Jelly Beans, ice skating, bowling, soccer, horseback riding, and on-site water park have to do with Summer?  Kids `R` Kids CAMP AMAZING KIDS is the answer!  Oh the places we will go and the fun we will have!    Get ready for a summer of fun while ca mpers learn and strengthen positive character traits!  You want your child to attend CAMP AMAZING KIDS for the FUN, FUN, FUN!  After working so hard throughout the school year, your child deserves some fun in the sun!  

• Week 1:   Going for the Goal! From soccer and volleyball to winning the race, campers will learn all about being a part of a cooperative team while sparkling as an amazing Kid. ( Bowling, Soccer, Tri Force Jump Rope, Parks, Carnival)

• Week 2: The Challenge Continues: Going For the Goal! Team work- Together Everyone Achieves More! Learn the importance of being a good team member and working hard for a goal. (Water Park, Putt Putt, Durham Bulls Game, Railhawks) 

• Week 3:  The Creative Advantage- Campers will stretch their imaginations as they explore intriguing aspects of the arts including drama, composing music,painting, architecture, writing, choreography, and more! ( Kaleidoscope theatre, Jellybeans, Park, Fancy Feet, Sports)

• Week 4:    The Creative Advantage Continues-- Campers will be encouraged to discover their amazing, hidden, creative talents and develop them with pizzazz while participating in spectacular adventures. ( Gymnastics, Plaster House, Water Slide, Pullen Park)

• Week 5:   Taking the Food Challenge: During these two extraordinary weeks, campers will have exciting, hands on fun with food and proper nutrition in amazingly unique ways! ( NC Creamery, Fun Fitastics, Farmers Market, Restaurant Tour and Lunch, Cooking in Classroom)

• Week 6:   Take the Food Challenge: Get Healthy!  Campers learn to eat and develop a healthy life style filled with exercise and proper nutrition. ( Zumba, Ice House, High Tech High Touch, Fitness Challenge)

• Week 7:    To Inventions and Beyond! Have you ever wondered what makes a light bulb come on? Come see for yourself!  Campers will look at successful, young entrepreneurs and inventors while learning to become one. ( Water Park, Tk;s Jungle, Life and Science Museum, Kids Art, Inventions)

• Week 8:    Inventions and Beyond Continued- Campers will learn what is involved in starting their own innovative businesses.  They will create their own amazing business or invention! ( Roller skating, Mad Science, Museum of Natural Science, Business/ Invention Fair)

• Week 9:   Wondrous Explorers and Adventurers- During these two weeks, campers will explore many of earth`s amazing natural wonders.  They will learn about young sailors who circumnavigate the earth and young climbers who scale the world`s most challenging mountains. (Scavenger Hunt, Horse Back Riding, Rock Climbing, Marbles Museum)

• Week 10:  Wondrous Explorers and Adventurers- Campers wil explore and experience wondrous adventures ar Camp Amazing Kids! (Imax, Eno River Study,Planetarium, Party)

• Sensational Summer- Thank you for joining us for a wonderful summer! ( End of Summer celebration, Water Slide, Zuma Party)
